  FCP 5 Log & Capture

  Hey Folks! I’m having an issue with FCP 5. I have a deck plugged in via Firewire. However, FCP will not recognize it. In the log & capture window is says VTR OK, the preview is disabled, I can control the deck the deck, but when I try to capture it says: Attempt to capture video without a video device selected. I went through my settings and selected NTSC-DV. Nothing seems to work. Do you have any ideas or theories?

  Try quitting FCP and restarting.

  Also.
