My browser is not opening. I have been using the shortcut and going through the window tab to no prevail. I also have deleted the Final Cut Pro preferences through the library folder and rebooted and nothing has changed. Any help would be appreciated.

if the browser is really missing you don’t have an open project. Locate your project file on your computer and double click it.

    All the best,

    Hi,

Please don’t take offense. I’m stumped, so I wrote to confirm what you are doing to eliminate the obvious.

Command-4 to open and close the browser window.

Control-U to reset the windows to their default positions.

And these are the three files to delete for preferences…

    systemHD/users/username/library/preferences/”com.apple.FinalCutPro.plist”
    systemHD/users/username/library/preferences/FCP user data/preferences file
    systemHD/users/username/library/preferences/FCP user data/poa cache file

I hope you find a solution. If you do please post back.

    Tom
