• Apple Final Cut Pro Legacy

  Error installing Final Cut Pro 4.5

  Hey guys,

  I am in desperate need of some help…As I told you a couple of threads down I have now just purchased a new iMac G5 and I have to run 4.5 because that is what my school runs. I am trying to install it but I keep getting an error that reads “disk images failed to mount error 39”. I am brand new to the apple world and don’t know what this means or what to do. I’ve looked around the web and it seems it has something to do with the new OS X on the iMac when it tries to scan a dmg file, or something like this. Does anyone know what in the world I am talking about?

  FCP doesn’t come on a DMG disk image though. There’s no image to mount. If you can’t install FCP 4.5 perhaps you need to speak to Apple.
