  Edge wipe issue with export

  Hi there – I am trying to use an edge wipe transition … it looks fine in FCP7 but when I export it the outgoing edge has little black lines along edge.
  I’ve attached a screen shot image of how the edge looks in fcp7 (I tried to feather it thinking that would help – it didn’t make a difference).

  What are your sequence and footage settings? 1080i59.94 perchance? The footage looks interlaced, thus to reason that the source footage and sequence are set to interlace. Interlacing doesn’t display properly on computer displays as they aren’t designed to show interlacing, thus why it will look odd on the computer.
