  Exporting 5.1 Stems form FCP

  i’ve been making some cuts to a film using the existing 5.1 stems, Dialogue, Effects, Music

  i’m going to re-export as a single 5.1 group.
  this will be used in a DCP, and for a screening from Quicktime

  my thinking is to set up 6 mono outputs, all with 0db downmix
  then assign the appropriate tracks to the appropriate outputs.

  i see FCP has a default 5.1 audio output setting, which is NOT set up like this.
  my guess is this is just (as it says) just for monitoring, and my 6 mono output is correct for what i need,
  but i just wanted to check with the expoerts.

  maybe 6 mono for CDP, and FCP’s 5.1 for the Quicktime??
