  FCP 7 project disappeared after external hard drive improperly ejected

  Any advice on how to retrieve a fcp 7 project after it disappeared because my external hard drive improperly ejected while in the middle of an edit?

  the project file has disappeared from the external?
  that’s weird.

  well, i’d just go to the autosave vault.
  i always keep that on my system drive in case of drive problems.
