  FCP 7 won’t open on new user profile

  Hi,

  I have recently set up a new profile on my iMac running Yosemite 10.10.4 and am trying to open FCP 7. The software works fine on the Administration account but am having problems on the new one. I am getting the following error message:

  “This version of Final Cut Pro is incompatible with Motion 5 which is installed in a directory that previously contained Motion 4. Please move Motion 5 to another directory and restart”

  I first removed Motion 4 from the FCP folder in my applications and replaced it with Motion 5. After still getting the same error message I removed Motion 5 from the FCP folder but am still getting the error message.

  Help!
