  FCP7 Jog and Transport controls disappeared for AVCHD footage

  Hello,

  While working on a project that has mixed media and file types (P2, AVCHD, GoPro, etc.) the Jog and Transport wheels disappeared on all of the AVCHD footage in FCP 7’s Log and Transfer window. In fact, I cannot even click within the footage viewer timeline without it going all the way to the end or beginning of the clip.

  The odd thing is, it was working for the first 10 days I was working on this project and now all of a sudden it is gone for AVCHD footage. The controls are still there for P2 footage.

  I’ve tried deleting the preferences and a few other simple fixes and nothing is bringing it back. I can’t seem to find an answer anywhere in the forums.

  I have a 2014 MacbookPro running Yosemite.
