Am doing a a video for a friend’s funeral TOMORROW! (Am a long-time user of FCP – but this has me stumped.)

    Am working with FCP 7.0.3

    PROBLEM
    1) Have dropped in my clips on timeline
    2) Clips are not all same format
    3) Is there a quick way to make all clips same format?

    – Everything was shot on Panasonic AG90
    – I captured clips using Log & Transfer
    – 3/4 of clips are ok, but the remainder are either too large or too small – and sometimes distorted.
    – I made no changes in clip or sequence settings during any phase of this process.
    – I have been reading this forum (plus other things online) but have still not found a way to fix this.
    – I have looked at both clip & sequence settings and can find no noticeable differences in settings.

If you have any suggestions on this, I would be very grateful to hear from you ASAP. Funeral is tomorrow.

    Thank you.

    Thanks, Dave. Kind of you.
    – Final out put will be DVD
    – Trying to get everything compatible with the following:
    – HDV 1080 p24
    – Frame: 1440 x 1080
    – Pixel aspect: HD Anamorphic 1080

But for some reason, a couple of the clips ended up on the timeline larger and slightly distorted. (Again, I brought them in all from same camera and made no changes in settings. So a bit of a mystery.)

I had already started editing before I realized the problem. If there is anyway to fix this (either via sequence and/or clips).

    or more simple:

select all the odd looking clips, right click, and REMOVE attributes.

they should have a green or grey render line above them… do they?
