    Hi Guys,

What is the highest possible export option with an mpeg-4 container (.mp4) with a H.264 codec. My client is asking for this format but can’t figure it out? Know it seem’s a basic question but just wanting the highest quality export

When I go to Export > Master File it only gives me an option for .mov container with H.264 codec….

    Thanks in advance

    Josh

You can use File | Share | Apple Devices 1080p then go to the Settings tab and change Video Codec to H.264 Better Quality and render with that. This will produce a file with an extension of .m4v which you can safely rename to .mp4 if that’s what your customer wants. Both simply indicate that are MPEG4 files.

Should have mentioned that the footage was shot in 720p. Do you just do the same with Apple Devices 720p and then change the codec?
