  Cannot burn BluRay or DVD in FCP7 after Yosemite update

  I’m trying to burn my project to BluRay via FCP 7’s share option but when it gets to the ‘Burning to disc’ stage it just keeps going on and on and nothing happens not even an error message. I was burning discs quite happily before updating to Yosemite. Could this be the cause? Has anyone else experienced this and shall I bother downgrading my OS?

  There is no reason to expect any of the FCS-3 related apps to keep working with Yosemite. That fact tat some people have some success is not enough to risk the upgrade, if you want to keep your FCS-3 apps working. Yeah, you probably need to revert. Hopefully, you have a disk image of the previous setup archived so it won’t take a full day or more to restore everything.
