    hi,

    could you please tell me how to add sound in after effects?
    when i import sound and place it in the timeline ,and i replay it i cant hear anything.can you please help me what to do?

    you’ve got to do a ram preview to hear the sound and watch your footage, or graphics or whatever. check you “time controls” window for the ram preview button.

    I hope you’re not pressing the spacebar =O You need to RAM preview if you want to see the video and hear the audio. Or Audio Preview (default is the numpad’s .) to just check the audio.

    Also when you render the project, be sure to tell AE to include the audio in the final output. In the Render Que, click “lossless” to open the dialog box. Click the audio box and select the output level for the audio in the final render. Neglecting to do this, the audio will fail to play in the final output.
