  XML with Digital Performer 8 and Final Cut Pro 7

  DAW: Digital Performer 8.04
  Editor: FCP 7.03

  QUESTIONS:

  1) I am somewhat of a newbie with FCP and looking to see best workflow between my DAW and FCP. Does XML make sense?

  2) I have been exporting my DAW tracks via XML into FCP and notice a redbar (reconnect issues I assume) on some audio tracks. I can still hear/play audio tracks in FCP? I have tried to reconnect the WAV files with no luck. Any ideas?

  3) Also what does XML Space Encoder Mean?

  I have zero experience with the Digital performer, but most audio editing software prefers AAF files. AAF files with embedded audio.
