  grey lines/blocks when exporting

  I have been exporting from FCP and Quicktime player and getting grey blocks across the video or photo.
  I have older versions of things: FCP7, quicktime player 7.6.9 and my OS is 10.5.8 on a macbook pro laptop.
  My video however is Calibrated DVCProHD 720p60 Integer Little Endian (it was exported from FCP) and I put it back into FCP to do export or do export from QT player. Either way, I get the grey blocks/or lines.
  I’m not able to update to proappsqtcodecs because of my OS.

  Calibrated DVCPRO HD? You mean you are editing MXF native using the Calibrated software?

  unsure. I have a QT file with the settings I specified. I then bring into FCP and do export. and that is when the grey lines show up. hope that helps…

  Try making a new sequence…ProRes settings. Copy and paste into that sequence…render. then export.
