Fragmented files after export.
Hi everybody,
My problem : on FC7, the quicktime export to create my master is fragmented in one .mov and several -av (?), each 4.1 Go. (My Hard Drive is not in fat32). And the .mov can be read only for 5 mns (my film is about 70mns).
Can anyone has a solution ?

How is the drive formatted, if not Fat32? How did you export? File>Export>Quicktime Movie? Self contained…other settings?

The external hard drive is formated in mac Os extended.
The export : file-export-quicktime sequence. No conversion, i want to have a master via quicktime, not a compressed file.
Other settings, the quicktime export is set on apple pro res 422 (hq)

Is this drive also set up as your Capture Scratch drive? In the Final Cut Pro System Settings…in the SCRATCH DISKS tab….at the bottom. Do you have CAPTURE LIMIT/FILE EXPORT size checked? And is it set to 4000 or so MB?

Yes, it is the same drive and the Scratc setting is notched on 4000 MB.
Do i un notch it ? -

I did un notch the CAPTURE LIMIT/FILE EXPORT and my export is just perfect and in one piece !
