    Hello,
    I have a problem.
I have a clip that I have scaled and moved to correct a bad frame.
On this clip, I have a sudden movement that I have corrected using speed.
For that I have split the clip in two portions, one of which is now slowed down.
The final touch is to add a smooth cam. The problem is that the effect acts differentely on both clips creating a bump when jumping from one clip to the other.
Usually I bounce the clips before adding the smooth cam but as my clips are already scaled I don’t need the smoothcam to scale them again.
But if I bounce before adding the smoothcam, I loose the opportunity to avoid rescaling because when bouncing I loose the off frame portion of my clips.
    Thus my question :
can I bounce without losing the original dimensions of the clips ?

I guess I could do the following :
    – first smooth cam
    – second correct speed
    – third correct scale and frame
Yes, sure next time that what is I will do, but I don’t want to do it all over again.

    Any suggestion ?

Your smoothcam is automatically adding movement on your clip. You really need to do this outside of FCP. After Effects or Motion may help.

Fixing in post is a bitch!
