  Dragging effect from clip to clip only shows 1 frame of effect

  I used to be able to drag a transition (say a fadein/fadeout) from one clip, lay it on another clip of the same length, and the dragged transition would be the same length as in the original clip. Now, whenever I do that it shortens that transition down to only a single frame or maybe 2. Any ideas why?

  That was my initial thought, but it happens regardless of the length of the clip and how much of a handle it has. I’m using a 12 frame transition and placing the fadein/fadeout transition to end on a 2 second segment of 30 second clip, so there’s more than enough material there.
