  Exporting To XDCam MXF file Without FCP7

  I am working on a network cable show and I am needing to export to XDCam EX 1080i60 VBR with an MXF wrapper. Right now we are using the Sony XDCam Exporter Plugin in Final Cut Pro 7. It works fine but it ties up Final Cut for an hour and a half. I would like to bypass using Final Cut to export by using Compressor or another program so I can keep editing on the next episode while that process is going in the background but I have yet to find something that is stable.

  I apologize in advance if this has already been answered but I haven’t been able to find an answer. If there already is a thread please point me in that direction. Gracias.
