Hi there, as I can’t find an answer on the web and neither on the mighty Creative COW I try it with a new post.
I’m trying to export a .MXF file from FCP 7, with IMX 625 compression. I’ve succeded to do it with the Sony XDCAM plugin without any problem, but I can’t set the fields right.
The timeline is progressive/none fields (that’s what the broadcaster is asking, and the orginal footage is progressive) but the .MXF that creates is always upper fields, no matter what I do.
Any suggestion? I know that if I import the .MXF in FCP I can change the fields settings in the browser, resolving the interlacing problem, but the broadcasters use AVID and they ask specifically for progressive .MXF

Is there a way to export a .imx clip from FCP with none fields?

    Thanks in advance!
