  Apple ProRess 422 becoming DV/DVC

  Hi All,

  I have brought footage into final cut using the Apple ProRes 422 codec, however when I copy segments of my sequence and paste them them into a new sequence they are suddenly in the DV/DVC codec and half sized. Might anyone know why this may be? Any help would be much appreciated!

  Probably you have your easy setup set to DV by default, FCP 7 does that. Try manually changing the codec setup on the sequence.
