Zoom in on cropped shot and maintain size
In FCP7 I have a sequence where I cropped a shot so it would fit about 1/4 of the screen, and now I want to zoom in on the shot and be able to move the clip around without increasing the size of the image or changing where the coordinates of the crop are. Is there a quick way to do this?

Export the shot to Apple Motion and use the 3-d camera there, I suppose.

Within fcp you can nest the shot after you crop it,
Or use digital heaven’s Box plugin,
Or crop with the motion controls and zoom with the Basic 3D filterNick
