    Hi there,

I’ve tried to open my final cut and it keeps crashing. I deleted the:

    com.apple.finalcutpro.plist

from my Preferences folder but now its gone and I still can’t open Final Cut. The instructions told me to also delete my Final Cut Pro User Data folder which is supposed to be in Preferences but its not there.

Any idea on what I’m doing wrong?

UPDATE: FCP is now giving me this message:

    You shouldn’t have deleted that.

I seem to have fixed the problem. I dragged the minsys.plist onto the desktop, restarted the computer and now everything works again.

The weird thing is now both (see below) are missing from my Preferences folder. FCP is working though. How is this possible?

    com.apple.FinalCutPro.plist.bak

    com.apple.RegFinalCutStudios.plist
