  Export: 1920X1080HD vs HD 1920X1080 16:9

  Just out of curiosity, is there any notable difference between exporting an FCP file with the aspect ratio of 1920X1080 vs 1920X1080 16:9?

  The option seems redundant, but I wasn’t sure if that caveat of “16:9” actually has any effect on the export?

  Zero difference. 1920×1080 is 16:9. Someone just added 16:9 for…well…I have no idea why they would do that.

  I guess you are talking about “Anamorphic”.
  Don’t touch that, it will distort the picture.
