Sony EX3 issues

I have a complicated edit, using FCP 7 and need some assistance please?
I need to combine footage shot on a Sony EX3 and a Sony Z1.
The Ex3 was set to shoot at 30Fps and the Z1 at 25Fps. I used the converter program Brorsoft in order to convert the Ex3 footage prior to importing to FCP. In the settings menu I changed the frame rate of the to match that of the Z1 and was able to import all the footage successfully.
However, the footage looks very pixelated and does not match the quality of the Z1.
Is there another way of doing this in order to achieve a better result?

Never heard of that application, but I don’t see it necessary (neither I trust it very much for.
EX footage works great native in FC. Use the SONY transfer tool.
The Z1 stuff, the same:doesn’t need transcoding.
You haven’t said if you have to deliver in p30 or p25.
Depending of the time-base you want to deliver, you have to convert one or the other footage.
Use Compressor to change the time base, and convert to Prores at the same time.
Once all the footage have the same time-base you can edit it together.
EX-1, HDV and Prores works without problem in the same sequence.
Set your sequence codec Prores.
