    I’ve posted a show in 720P60 @ 59.94 in native DVCPro HD codec (lots of multicams, fast moving sports footage). I’ve been asked to deliver 1080i in XDCam HD (1440 x 1080 @ 29.97).
    Everything I’ve tried yields a significant stutter on the backgrounds or other fast moving objects, which
    I expected. Is there a way to minimize this or am I missing something (other than shoot interlaced next time)?
    Using the XDcam Transfer from FCP gives me a black file unless going to a progressive format.

    What works at least for getting the file output is:

    using compressor to convert it to 29.97 and XDCam codec, then importing to FCP,
    then exporting using XDCam transfer to get the MXF wrapper.

    figured it out, frame blending made all the difference
