    Hello everybody,

I’m doing my thesis on High Frame Rate cinema and I shot some 60fps/48fps test footage with the Alexa, unfortunately the timebase of the camera couldn’t go higher than 30fps so I kept it at 24fps, which turns it into slow-motion footage.

I need to turn the footage back into the original speeds in post, so real 60fps when playing back.
I’m not sure if this can be done in FCP or if I need any other specific software for this? I have AE to my disposal.

The only method I can think of now is creating a 60fps project and speeding up the HFR material in FCP, but that seems to be quite an inadequate way of doing it. Any help on this would be much appreciated.

    Much thanks.

That’s what you do. How is that antiquated? How ELSE would you do it?
