HI guys, I’m new to Final Cut X, coming from Premiere,
I have video with Lav mics on left side and Boom on right,
how do I split these up?
In premiere I make a copy of the audio track and add the effect
duplicate right to one audio clip and duplicate left to the other.
anything like that in Final Cut X,

    thanks,
    J

    Hi Joel

you should post your question in the FCPX forum, you are much more likely to get an answer there. This is more FCP Legacy.

Select the clip, then in the inspector change the audio to dual mono. Then in your timeline right-click and choose show audio components. Now you have both channels playing on both sides and can alter each channel individually in the timeline.
