  Final Cut Pro 7 won’t capture timecode from camera/deck???

  Basically, I’m capturing HDV video & audio just fine into FCP 7, but in the clip bin I don’t see the timecode numbers under the “TC” column; it just says “source”. Is there anyway to have it include the tape’s timecode when capturing? Audio/Video Settings= Sequence Preset: Apple ProRes 422 (HQ) 1920.1080 60i 48 kHz Capture Preset: HDV-Apple ProRes 422 (HQ) Device Control Preset: Sony HDV FireWire. *I’m using a Sony HVR Z5U camera as the deck via FireWire. Video was shot DF 1080i.
