  FCP Quicktime files only play audio on PC

  HI,

  I DOWNLOADED A HDV QUICKTIME FILES FROM FCP ON MY MAC. I AM TRYING TO OPEN ON PC, BUT IT WILL ONLY PLAY AUDIO. IS THERE SOMETHING I AM DOING WRONG?

  If I’m not wrong, the HDV codec is not the sane for PCs and Macs.
  Same happens with DVCPro.
  I’m afraid you will have to convert to something compatible,

  Try the free VLC player. I don’t know what HD codec you are using but so far all our customers can play our QT XDCAM HD422 1080p 30 movies on PC or Mac. *knocks on wood*
