  FCP 6/7 media manager won’t delete unused WAV audio: Is there a workaround?

  I’m working with Media Manager in FCP6 and discovered in in the FCP manual that Media Manager won’t delete unused portions of a WAV audio file.
  I’m working with 5D mkii footage and WAV audio from a field recorder, and I need to get rid of unused footage, video AND audio, for a client.

  Is there a way to do this?
