  Frames slowed down- What the heck did I do?

  Working on a project in FCP 7. Barely touched it and it was working fine, now when I play the clips the frames seem slow/ blurry and audio is out of sync. What did I do and how do I fix it?

  What codec are the files you are editing ? My first thought is that they may be H264 as that can typically cause this kind of thing. If they are convert them to ProRes and that should fix your issue.

  If they are not H264 can you give us a little more info about the files and your system and drives set-up – thanks
