  Strange rendering problems, not all elements in the timeline are even appearing in the canvas

  When trying to preview my video, I keep getting stuff like this:

  

  Some of my images are keyframed for changes in opacity:

  

  But the canvas window is showing these objects as either 100% opaque or invisible. I’ve used FCP for years and never seen anything like this. Please advise, CC community. Thanks.
