Hi I have been given a doc to prepare for TV in Pal land.
I have noticed that some of the footage was shot as interlaced and mixed with progressive Hd

I did a test out put with Compressor and I can clearly see the interlace footage.

whats the best way forward to de-interlace each clip then export.

    or

    de-interlace all in Compressor

second part of adviced need is please read following Audio – 48Khz 16bit and minimum bitrate of 3mbps and optimally 10-15mpbs

and this I don’t know where to check this and minimum bitrate of 3mbps and optimally 10-15mpbs

ok let a good start to the New Year learning this hope you can help

    Thank You

    Trevor

TV’s play interlaced fine. Computer monitors…not so much. If you are exporting and then watching on your computer monitor…then you aren’t checking it properly. A regular TV will play interlaced and look fine. What you need to have, if you are editing for TV, is an IO device (AJA, Decklink, Matrox) and an HDTV or broadcast monitor. THAT’S how you check your work for TV.
