  How to mask/protect and area in FCP when using Chroma Key?

  How can I protect an area in FCP when using chroma key? I am talking about for example the Kindle in the picture below. As you can see, it has a few spots in the screen.

  It was filmed in fairly bad conditions, bad “green screen” and lighting.

  Hope there is a solution for this…

  Just duplicate the picture (without the ChromaKey filter on) a new layer on top, and crop or use a mask (4/8 Points Garbage Matte) to isolate the problematic area.
