FCP7 Crashes Every Few Minutes.
Long time lurker here, and this is my first post, so if I’ve done something incorrectly; my apologizes. Ive been working on a very large project for the past few weeks, that involves a fair amount of keying (done with the Keylight plugin). However my workflow has been severely hampered, as Final Cut crashes every few minutes, for no apparent reason. Typically it happens when clicking on a clip, or simply dragging the playhead. The only things I could think of that causes the crash would be the use of a small .png file in the sequences, or a small nested sequence, however I can typically do both of those without any crashing. I can post the console output, if that would help.

Never mind! I figured it out! Keylight 2.0 V2 and under have a bug where large projects, with multiple instances of keylight are used, cases FCP to run out of memory and crash. My solution was to create multiple projects, with only a few sequences in each.
