  • Pro Res 422 HQ Question?

Posted by Jonny Cates on August 10, 2012 at 4:20 pm

I mistakenly checked the HQ position while sizing several formats into 1280 x 720 Pro Res 422.

When layering these formats on the timeline, it seems the HQ is causing some playback problems – like a slow motion jerky effect. I do have Unlimited RT selected too.

But if I select lower playback rates, they will then play OK. But of course the Dynamic resolution is gone.

“Can I re-transcode these same Pro Res HQ files – but this time without the HQ?”
Or do I have to go back to the original files to redo? Is this because of the HQ was selected, or is there something else going on?

    Thanks….
