  Importing Still into FCP

  Hi there

  I have a number of time lapses shot on the 5D that I need to import into FCP. Is there a way to set the duration of the stills (like you can in avid) so that when I import a folder of stills they are only 1 second long. Right now they are 10 seconds long.

  Yes, you set this in user preferences:

  

  see here it is set to ten sec. change that to one second, use a brand new bin for each set of stills. Stills should be in the 0000 format, so image one is 0001, then 0002, etc. or else they can get out of order in the timeline.
