I am color correcting footage in FCP7 and need to export a movie for the client to import into Premiere CS5 on a PC.
What is the best codec to preserve the quality of Apple ProRes 422 HQ timeline, and which will import fine into Premiere? I have heard of plugins to allow a PC running Premiere to recognize and import ProRes footage, but I can’t seem to find conclusive answers nor the supposed plugin.
Would (gasp! heavy!) Animation codec be the best way to preserve quality?

    Thanks for the response.

Is the AVID DNxHD codec you mention available for dowload? I presume I would have to install it on my MAc and the client on his PC, correct?
