  • AVCHD Log and transfer trouble.

I received some files from a memory card that was sent to me, they orginally just sent me the .MTS files but after I explained to them I needed the whole card for Final Cut Pro to read them, they sent me what appears to be the whole card.

However, when I try to log and transfer I still have trouble

What’s going on here? Did they miss a folder or something? what is the file structure supposed to look like?

Do not select Card or STREAM folder. Instead select the BDMV folder for it’s root folder from CF.

I had this once with a card that was corrupted. Had to rewrap the files using ClipWrap (v2.4.6 I think) into ProRes, then import into FCP 7.0.3
