I am trying to do the ‘Sin city effect’ on a video I am editing.

When i select the 3-way color corrector filter and then click the eye dropper on the color i want to keep the color palette in the viewer window does not change to the color i have selected, it remains as it is.

When i desaturate the image, the whole thing gets desaturated.

    Why does this happen?

    Am i missing some settings?

Near the bottom left corner of the Color Corrector 3-Way interface there is a little triangle. Click on that triangle to reveal the Limit Effect controls of the CC 3-Way. It’s these tools that allow you to isolate corrections to a specific color

    Oops. Sorry.

Have you tried clicking on that little button that has a Key on it? It toggles between Final Image, Matte, Source.
