  long clip names get in way of big icon view

  I have a lots of clips and I’d like to display the large icons tightly bunched to see as many as possible without scrolling. Unfurtunately long clips names that I’d like to retain force the icons apart, thwarting my intent. Any work-arounds for this? (I don’t want to purge the names)

  p.s. not to play ‘gotcha’ but I’m pretty sure avid overlaps the names believing (correctly I think) in icon view, icons come first.
