    Hi

I’d like to use text in the title so that it is not simply white but the letters are inside filled by the picture that I want (for example, word “peace” is filled with blue doves on the overall white background).

I tried to go to style palette in the boris title menu and use the load menu in the gradients section. But when I tried to upload any kind of image file (jpeg, bmp, gif, png etc) it does not see them as readable.

Does it mean that we can only use existing gradient and simple color templates, and can’t import our own image files?

Put the Doves image on video track 3
Put the Boris Text “Peace” (white letters) on video track 2
Put your White background on video track 1

Right click on the Doves image and change the Composite Mode to Travel Matte – Luma

This should give you the effect you want.

    Have fun!
    Joe
