  29.97 to 23.98 Clip – Conversion ?

  I was wondering if someone may be able to convert the following clip to 23.98 for me. I don’t have the means to do it and it is the last clip in my project. Any help would be most appreciated !

  Have Compressor? Comes with FCP.

  Drag the clip into Compressor and then what settings to make it work ?

  Choose the codec you want to convert it to.

  Then click on the ENCODER tab in the INSPECTOR. Click on the SETTING option next to VIDEO. Change the FRAME RATE from CURRENT to CUSTOM. Choose 23.976. CLick OK

  Then, click on the next tab to the right of that…FRAME CONTROLS. Click on the sprocket to get the option to turn it on. Click on OFF to choose ON.

  RESIZE…leave alone…you aren’t resizing.
  OUTPUT FIELDS: Progressive
  DEINTERLACE: BEST

  RATE CONVERSION: BEST

  That seemed to do the trick ! A little choppy but for my purposes will work just fine. Thank you very much
