    Hi guys.

I’ve got a question which might seem daft but i need confirmation before i carry on with the edit:

Im staring an edit in FCP, all my videos are ProRes 422. Im going do color correction and graphics treatment in After Effects. I dont want to export the whole timeline as XML as I will build up my edit from FCP to AFX and BACK shot by shot.

My question is, if i export as ProRes 422 every time, will my shots loose quality?

    Thanks

Short answer: There will be no appreciable loss in video quality if you export ProRes.
