  Export Setting & Can a 1920×1080 video be 4:3 (0.9091 PAR) without pillar boxing?

  I’ve delivered a series to clients using FCP 7 happily for 2 year. A new network wants the back episodes and I’m having trouble re-exporting everything.

  My episodes are:
  1920 x 1080
  29.97fps, Square
  Apple Pro Res 422 (HQ)
  Upper
  15.6mbps OR 16.7mbps

  I need to deliver:
  MPEG 2 NTSC DV
  29.97fps, PAR: 0.9091
  Upper Field First
  15mbps

  What are my proper export settings to deliver that PAR and an MPEG 2 from FCP?

  You’ll need to do this in Compressor. Do you have it installed? They likely want a program stream, and you can’t do that from FCP directly.

  Yes I have compressor. I’ve tried to use the MPEG 2 program stream on the geometry tab, the dimension are is greyed out. I can crop to 4:3 1.33:1 but it still produces a PAR of 1.1250 NTSC.

  How can I make it produce 0.9091?
