  FCP Chromakey in motion workflow

  I’ve shot several talking head scenes on green screen, that I’m chromakeying in Motion 4 over a virtual studio background. There are many edits I’ll need to make. My thought is to cut the green screen shots in FCP 7.0.3 first and then bring that into motion 4. The shots wil have varying focal lengths, some medium, some closeups.

  Then create the key in Motion. Does this make the most sense? Or would you suggest a better workflow?

  All was shot with a sony EX1. 1920 x 1080 30p. Great lighting.
