  zooms and repositions in compressor vs. final cut

  So my understanding is that when you use the “send to compressor” function in FCP, Compressor re-renders all the source media and assuming you have the correct frame control settings on, it does a much better job then FCP. My question is, when I send to compressor and have either zoom’s or repos (in the motion tab) on the footage is compressor doing the resize or is final cut? If final cut is doing it, does final cut do a decent job?

  If u scale a clip in fcp. It is done there. Compressor create/converts to the files u ask it to.
