Sending SoundTrack Pro MultiTrack Project ~ Mono Convert to Stereo
I have a timeline in FCP. The audio for vocals was recorded stereo but with just one external mic on an H4N Zoom, leaving the right channel blank. In FCP I have imported and synced up that audio to my video. I unlinked the stereo pair, then duplicated the one to the other and relinked them as a stereo pair, now both channels being identical, audio coming out both channels. That is fine and well enough in FCP, but when I export to Sound Track Pro, it only reads as the original, and doesn’t have the FCP newly linked up pair.
What is a suggested way to get this issue solved in Sound Track Pro? There is the process of “convert to mono” which would let me rid myself of the blank right channel. My object is to have my vocal or narration in both channels rather than the one.
Any suggestions on the ideal way to pull this off easiest?

“It is, in fact, nothing short of a miracle that the modern methods of instruction have not yet entirely strangled the holy curiosity of inquiry; for this delicate little plant, aside from stimulation, stands mainly in need of freedom; without this it goes to rack and ruin without fail. It is a very grave mistake to think that the engagement of seeing and searching can be promoted by means of coercion and a sense of duty.” — Albert Einstien
