64 Bit?
Posted by Tylor Larson on November 19, 2007 at 10:59 pmDo any cow out there work in Windows 64 with after effect? we are thinking of making the jump to 64 and i wanted to make sure that AE would still run in a 64 bit os.

November 19, 2007 at 11:21 pmI work in 64 xp pro and have had no problems. I did this because of the 3 GB limit in 32 bit xp. with xp pro you can have up to 128 gigabytes….thats a little much but hey you never know!Anyways other than a couple of things you need to update; not in AE; it is worth it!!!

It’s definitely worth the switch if you tend to use +6GB of Ram -

November 21, 2007 at 4:29 pmYes, but if you use Gridiron Nucleo Pro 2 https://www.gridironsoftware.com/NucleoPro/ you can access all of your memory. Also if you needed you could open up multiple instance of AE to get your job done, but you can only render one instance at a time more info here:
