  Disappearing Values in Timeline in AE 7.0

  For some reason I can’t find my values under and transformation properties in After Effects 7.0. Here is what I’m talking about.

  you need to have either your switches or modes column visible.

  In the right bottom corner, click on either the left most button or the one next to it, or right click on any column in the timeline and choose

  Columns > Switches

  or

  Columns > Modes

  Don’t feel too bad, when AE 7 came out, and had this new interface, I came across the problem, and was completely baffled.
